Our polypropylene (PP) sheets offer effective sound insulation through their material properties and structural design. With a density of 0.9-1.0g/cm³ and dense molecular structure, they effectively dampen vibrations and absorb airborne sound from equipment operation and human voices.
For enhanced performance, our PP sheets can be combined with foam materials or sound insulation cotton in hollow structures, creating air layers that effectively block low-frequency noise from mechanical vibrations and water flow. While not as specialized as gypsum boards, our 3-5mm thick PP sheets typically reduce medium and high-frequency noise by 10-20 decibels.
